Sligachan is beautifully located, resting between the infamous Red and Black Cuillin mountains on the Isle of Skye. It's an area of natural beauty, offering a range of low level walks as well as challenging ascents up the infamous Cuillin Ridge. Not only a stunning spot, Sligachan is centrally located in the very heart of the Isle of Skye. It's location lends itself well to sightseeing and exploring around the Island.
Sligachan is easily reached by car, taking the main A87 road from the Skye Bridge on a 24 mile journey North. If travelling by public transport, main bus service (Citylink) stops outside the Sligachan Hotel, which is a 5-10 minute walk away.
Please be aware that there are no shops in Sligachan, so please collect any groceries you may require en route.
